What is Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity?

Aug 11, 2025 | health and medicine

About this episode

Electronic appliances produce electromagnetic fields – or EMFs. These devices include mobile phones and masts, Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth speakers and smart meters, as well as power lines and even electric motors. Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity – or EHS – is a physical reaction that people can have to these EMFs. The scientific consensus international report published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences confirms the view that EHS is a real, measurable neurological disorder, supported by biological mechanisms and markers. Mae offer electronig yn cynhyrchu meysydd electromagnetig – neu EMFs. Mae’r dyfeisiau hyn yn cynnwys ffonau symudol a mastiau, llwybryddion Wi-Fi, siaradwyr Bluetooth a mesuryddion clyfar, yn ogystal â llinellau pŵer a hyd yn oed moduron trydanol. Mae Hypersensitifrwydd Electromagnetig – neu EHS – yn adwaith corfforol y gall pobl ei gael i’r EMFs hyn. Mae Adroddiad Consensus Gwyddonol Rhyngwladol a gyhoeddwyd yn y International Journal of Molecular Sciences yn cadarnhau’r farn fod EHS yn anhwylder niwrolegol gwirioneddol y gellir ei fesur, gyda mecanweithiau a marciau biolegol sy’n ei gefnogi.
