01 Is the partnership really free?
Yes. No setup fees, subscriptions, minimum referrals or technical integration. Authors who order an animation pay SciTube directly.
02 Does this affect editorial independence?
No. SciTube is an optional author service, separate from peer review and publication decisions. Co-branding does not imply endorsement of an animation's scientific findings.
03 Who checks the science?
Authors review and approve the scientific content during production. SciTube manages scripting, visuals and delivery without requiring your editorial team to oversee each order.
04 How are royalties tracked and paid?
Orders are referred through your co-branded service. We provide referral reporting and agree royalty payment arrangements with you before launch.
05 Can authors and journals reuse the animations?
Absolutely. Authors can use their animations for conferences, teaching, presentations, grant reporting, social media and public engagement. Journals are also welcome to embed them alongside published papers as public-engagement video abstracts.
06 How is author data handled?
Authors contact and pay SciTube directly. We agree the referral-reporting information and data-handling arrangements with your organisation before the service launches.
07 What about AI and production standards?
SciTube is human-led. Our editors, writers and animators manage production, with limited AI assistance to support internal workflows. Scientific accuracy remains central, and no client information or research materials are used to train AI models.
